Calculators

Calculators (in the menu, under Routes) has four calculators, each on its own tab: Route price (what to charge a school district for a route, per day, per school year and per mile), Cost per mile, Driver pay (split shifts, per hour or per shift) and Fuel cost. The answers change as you type. Nothing you type is saved.

1. 1Open Calculators and pick a tab.
2. 2Press Use my numbers to fill in your company's own figures from the last 12 months, or type your own.
3. 3Change any box to try other numbers. Reset to the example puts the example back.

Where your numbers come from

• Fuel price and miles per gallon: your fuel fill-ups (miles per gallon needs odometer readings).
• Miles a year and maintenance: fuel odometer readings and the cost of your work orders, shared across your vehicles.
• Tires, registration and insurance: expenses in those categories and your current insurance policies' premiums.
• Driver pay: the company pay rate under Settings › Company › Driver attendance.
• Less than a year of records? Yearly figures (miles, maintenance, tires, registration) are scaled up to a year — three months of maintenance counts four times. They need at least a month of records; until then they keep the example.
• Each figure only comes from parts of FleetCommander your role can open. Anything without enough on file keeps the example, so check every box before you rely on the answer. The box beside the calculator lists what was used.

The Printables tab lists the free printable checklists, forms and templates (pre-trip checklist, accident report, timesheet and more). Each opens in a new tab, ready to print.
