Billing and your plan
Your free trial, what FleetCommander costs, invoices, how to pay, and what happens if an invoice is late.
Billing is for your company's Super Admins. It shows your plan, what it costs, and every invoice. During the free trial there is no Billing page (nothing to pay yet); it appears in the side menu when the trial ends.
The free trial
- Every new company starts with a free trial (the length is agreed with you — 30 days by default). No credit card is needed. A banner at the top shows the days left.
- When the trial ends we send one invoice: the one-time setup fee plus the first month. You then have 7 days to pay it (your exact terms are on the Billing page).
- Need more time? Ask us — we can extend the trial.
What it costs
- The standard price is $50 per vehicle per month, plus a one-time setup fee of $450. Prices can differ from company to company — yours are shown on the Billing page.
- Each month we invoice the vehicles you have then (archived vehicles are not counted). The Estimated monthly total on the Billing page shows what that would be today.
- Some companies have a lower price with some modules switched off, by agreement. The What's in your plan box lists what is included (✓) and what is not (✗). Ask us if you would like to add a module.
Invoices and paying
- Open Billing. Each invoice shows its number, dates, amount and status (Open, Overdue, Paid, Void).
- Press View / print to open the invoice in a new tab (choose Save as PDF in the print dialog if you like).
- You are emailed (and notified in the app) when an invoice is issued, with the invoice attached as a PDF, and again on the day it is due — there is no banner for an invoice that isn't late yet. Pay as the To pay box says (it quotes the invoice number). When we receive the payment we mark it Paid and you get a notification.
If an invoice is late
- The day after the due date a red banner appears at the top and the status is Past due. Everything still works. This is the only invoice banner you will see.
- If it stays unpaid past the grace period (3 days by default) the account is suspended: your people can open only Billing (plus Help, Contact us and My account). Nothing is deleted — everything is back the moment the invoice is paid.
- Everyone else in the company sees a short notice asking them to speak to their Super Admin.
Good to know: FleetCommander's own terms are in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, linked at the bottom of every page.
