Users & roles
Adding people, suspending them, roles and permissions.
Users (Settings › Users)
- The list shows each person's photo, name, email, role, status and last sign-in. Search by name or email.
- Add User — name, email, a role and a temporary password (at least 10 characters).
- Actions on each row: Edit user, and Suspend user / Reactivate user. A suspended person can't sign in, and if they are signed in they are signed out within about five minutes. You can't suspend yourself, and only a Super Admin can change a Super Admin.
- On the Edit user page you can also change their name, role, status, reset their password (which signs them out everywhere) and set their photo. It shows whether their two-step login is on, with a Reset two-step login button for someone who lost their phone and has no backup codes (see Signing in).
Roles

Settings › Roles & permissions shows exactly what each role can do. A Super Admin can build a custom role: choose a name and tick, for each section, whether it can view, create, edit, delete, export or approve. Duplicate an existing role to start from it.
Good to know: Two-step login is recommended for Super Admins (their account controls everyone else's) and optional for now. If the server owner makes it compulsory, a Super Admin without it can only open My account, Help and Contact us until it is set up.
Tip: A change to someone's role reaches them within about five minutes, or when they next sign in.
