Maintenance

Preventive maintenance schedules (oil changes, brakes, safety inspections) and the service history.

The Manage menu

Manage (top right): New schedule, and for a ticked schedule Edit and Create work order (it opens the work order, or the open one already made from that schedule), and Delete for several. Tick rows with the check box at the start of each row (the one in the header ticks the whole page). A schedule can't be deleted while a work order made from it is still open — the banner names it; finish or cancel it first. Its service history and finished work orders are kept.

Maintenance keeps track of recurring service so nothing is missed. It has two tabs: Schedules (what is due) and Service history (what was done, with dates, mileage and cost).

Schedules

A schedule is one recurring task on one vehicle, like Oil change every 5,000 miles or Safety inspection (twice a year). Its status is worked out for you:

StatusMeaning
UpcomingNot due for a while.
Due soonComing up.
DueDue now.
OverdueLate. It also raises a notification.
CompletedDone.
  1. Press New maintenance schedule.
  2. Choose the vehicle (from the picture list) and the task. Presets fill in common ones: oil change, brake inspection, tire inspection, safety inspection (twice a year), seasonal inspection.
  3. Set the interval: every N miles, every N engine hours, every N days, or a fixed date. You can combine them; whichever comes first makes it due.
  4. Enter when and at what mileage it was last done. The app calculates Next due.
  5. Save schedule.

When a task is due

Open the schedule and use Create work order to turn it into a repair job. When the work order is completed, the service is recorded in Service history and the schedule moves to its next due date or mileage.

Tip: Filter by status to see everything that is Due or Overdue in one list, and use the Dashboard cards to jump straight here.
