  • ImprovedEvery table now looks and works the same: sortable column headings everywhere — HR's People, Certifications, Pay and Time off, Driver attendance, Time off and Onboarding, Billing, and the tables inside a vehicle's, vendor's, part's and person's page (which now all have a header row) — and a tick box on each row of the main lists, so Manage can open or edit the one you ticked. Settings › Users' Add user is now under Manage.
  • ImprovedSearch the Drivers list by a driver's vehicle (fleet number, plate, VIN, make or model), and the Routes list by the vehicle or driver on a route. Export CSV follows the same search.
  • ImprovedA vehicle's driver now stays the same everywhere: change it on the vehicle's page and the driver's page follows (and the other way round). Before saving you're warned and asked when the driver already drives another vehicle — move it, or keep both, so a driver can have more than one — and when the vehicle runs routes with someone else, ticked to put the new driver on them from today (drivers are told).
  • NewA route whose vehicle belongs to a different driver shows a warning on the route's, vehicle's and driver's pages, with one-click choices: make that driver its driver, add it as their other vehicle, or leave it. A free vehicle and driver put on a route together become each other's automatically, and the vehicle's page now lists its routes.

  • ImprovedImporting routes from a spreadsheet no longer stops at missing or unknown details: every route with a Route Number is imported, Starts On can be any day (past, today or later), and anything missing — a school, a student's address, a driver or bus that isn't found — is left out and flagged. Routes shows a Missing info badge and filter, and each route's page says what to fill in.
  • NewAnnouncements from FleetCommander: news from our team — a new feature, planned maintenance, a change to billing — now shows as a blue banner under the header (some also under the bell and by email). Click the × to close one; it stays closed for you on every device.

  • ImprovedSign in, Start your free trial and Forgot password have a new look: a soft pastel gradient — pink, lavender, blue, peach and mint — that slowly moves, and on a wide screen the form beside a drawing (today's runs, your fleet, a safe way back in) on a see-through panel. The reset-password and activation pages share the gradient.
  • FixedDrawings across the app no longer have rough edges: the soft glow behind each one fades out evenly, and the shadows under its cards fade softly instead of stopping in a straight line.
  • FixedOn the sign-in pages, someone with a style other than Classic saved gets that style's own colour on the buttons and links (a black button on Paper, rose on Rose) instead of a mix with teal.

  • NewTwelve new styles in My account › Style — six light (Paper, Honey, Denim, Sage, Cocoa, Steel) and six dark (Charcoal, Wine, Nebula, Moss, Mocha, Storm). Paper and Charcoal are black and white: shades of white and black, never pure white or pure black. Status colours (red, amber, green) and links keep their colour so they still stand out.
  • ImprovedDrop-downs have their own arrow with room around it (the browser's sat against the edge), and on the dark styles the big numbers on the Dashboard's Fleet ready and Compliance score are bright and easy to read.
  • ImprovedMy account: Style and Dashboard fold away — each shows what you've chosen under its name; click it (Expand) to change it, and Collapse to fold it again.
  • ImprovedPlain buttons are flat again — white with a grey border, no shade or shadow — like the Help, Contact us and notification buttons at the top and your name beside them; pointing at one fills it with a light grey. Outlined red buttons (Delete, Decline) are flat too.
  • ImprovedHelp articles are easier to read: larger text, clear section headings, On this page (marking the part you're reading), how long it takes to read, and Previous / Next and Ask Ava or Contact us at the end.
  • ImprovedReports: a Find a report box narrows the list as you type, buttons jump to each section, and every section says what's in it.

  • ImprovedInvoice PDFs — your FleetCommander invoices and the invoices you send school districts — are now tagged for screen readers: the title, who it's from and to, the table of charges with its headings, the totals and how to pay are read in order, and the logo is described. They look the same, in the app's own font.
  • NewAn Accessibility statement (link at the bottom of every page): the standard we work to (WCAG 2.1 AA), what we've done and what isn't there yet, and how to tell us about a problem. With it: pop-ups, menus and picture drop-downs work fully from the keyboard and with screen readers, form errors are read out with their field, and Ava's answers are read once they're complete.
  • ImprovedEasier to read and to use with a keyboard or a screen reader: small grey text, status words, badges and the blue in the dark themes are darker or brighter where they were hard to read, in every theme; form boxes have clearer outlines; a Skip to content link comes first on every page; and every button, box and progress bar has a name for screen readers.
  • NewSearch suggests as you type, in the header and on the Search page: the pages and forms that fit ("fuel" → Fuel, Log fuel), up to 3 matching vehicles, drivers, routes, schools and more, "Did you mean …?" for a typo, and your recent searches when the box is empty. Use ↑ ↓ and Enter, or click.
  • ImprovedButtons have a new look: each carries an icon for what it does — ✓ Save, + Add, a bin for Delete, ✕ Cancel, → Open — plain buttons have a soft shade, red and green ones the same gentle gradient as the blue, and a button that's working shows a spinning circle. The picked status filter has a ✓.
  • ImprovedBanners have a new look: each has an icon and a short title over its message — Done, Heads up or Couldn't do that at the top of a page, and Free trial, Add a payment method, Invoice overdue and the other billing messages for Super Admins, with an Open Billing button beside them.
  • ImprovedThe Compliance Center has a Violations to deal with card: traffic fines overdue or due soon, and violations whose fault isn't decided yet — each one a click away.
  • ImprovedThe attendance list on My Day shows each student's special needs, highlighted under their name, while the driver marks them.
  • ImprovedBilling now appears for a company's Super Admins in the last 5 days of the free trial, so you can see what happens when it ends — and, paying online, add a bank account or card ahead of time.
  • NewTraffic violations: Incidents › Violations keeps every ticket your vehicles get — when and where, the fine and when it's due, and the ticket's photo or PDF. FleetCommander works out who was driving (the driver of the route run at that time, or who had the vehicle that day), and you decide whether it's the driver's fault and what to charge them. The driver is told and sees it on My Day; the Driver hours & pay report shows what's charged in each pay period (pay itself is never changed). You're reminded before a fine is due.
  • NewDriver history on each vehicle: who had it, from which day to which — recorded whenever its assigned driver changes, with earlier periods added by hand. A driver's page lists the vehicles they had.

  • NewA route can serve two schools: choose a Second school with its own bells, and the run drops at the school that starts first, then the other (only the first school is billed). Each student on a route now has Special needs — shown to the driver on My Day — and, on a two-school route, which school they go to. The Routes CSV template carries School 1 and School 2 (name, district, address, bells) and every student (first and last name, address, pick up, guardian phone, special needs, school) — add Student 4, 5 … columns for more — and a school that isn't on the Schools tab yet is added, with its district.
  • ImprovedPut FleetCommander on your phone's home screen: it gets its own icon and opens full screen, like an app — nothing to download from an app store. Drivers see a tip on My Day saying how (iPhone: Share › Add to Home Screen; Android: Add to home screen).
  • NewA Blog, in the menu at the top of the public pages: guides for school-bus companies — billing school districts for routes, managing bus aides — and honest, dated comparisons with the other software you might be considering.
  • ImprovedFor your first week, Ava (Beta) says hello in a speech bubble over her button each time you sign in — click her and it goes away until your next sign-in.
  • NewMissing papers: the Compliance Center lists drivers with no SSN, license number or date, medical card date or a required document, and vehicles with no registration, insurance, VIN, plate or a required document — and the people who edit them get one summary when something new is missing, then weekly until it's added. Pick the documents every vehicle must have under Settings › Compliance rules. Reminders only — nothing is blocked. The Compliance Center's cards now all start folded, with how many are in each on its heading.
  • ImprovedSchools has a search box (school name, address, contact or website) and buttons to show just the schools no route uses yet, or — with District invoices on — those with no school days set; Export CSV follows them. In the menu, Routes is now called Schools & Routes.
  • ImprovedDistrict invoices › Manage › Add district opens the Add school form beside the list: type the new district's name and its first school.
  • ImprovedSearch finds schools and school districts too. Schools by name, district or address; districts (with District invoices on) by name, PO number or billing contact — each result opens the school or the district.

  • ImprovedDistrict invoices: each district's page has a Routes tab — every route whose school is in the district in a list like the others, with its school, status, driver and vehicle now, and its price per school day and the days it's billed for; search, sort, and Manage › Export CSV.
  • NewHR, being switched on company by company: People lists everyone who works for you — drivers, aides, and the office staff, mechanics and dispatchers you add there — with their job, status, hire date and whether their certifications are current. Pay shows what everyone is paid, as entered, with a yearly estimate and the totals for drivers, aides and staff (worked out from the days and hours you set), and Export CSV. Time off shows what everyone has left of each kind this year — days a year per kind (with someone's own number where needed), unused days carried over up to a limit you set, and the year starting when you choose — and a driver's request that goes over says so. Records keeps each person's warnings, commendations, reviews (rated 1–5 on your own areas, with goals and a reminder before the next one) and notes — seen only by HR. Leaving gives each person who leaves a checklist (keys, fuel card, badge, uniform, phone, final paycheck, exit interview — your own list), flags the routes to hand to another driver, and Finish sets their status and turns off their sign-in; you're reminded if it's forgotten. Hiring is a board of everyone applying to work for you — Applied, Phone screen, Interview, Road test, Background check, Offer, Hired — with notes, their resume and license, and, once hired, a button that adds them as a driver, aide or staff member with what you already typed. Certifications tracks CPR, drug tests, physicals, in-service training and more: a ready-made list you change to match your state, who must hold each, the certificate file, and a reminder before one runs out (on Compliance and the Dashboard too). Reports has an HR group: Headcount, Certifications due, Leave balances and Pay summary. Nothing is ever blocked. For Super Admins to start with; give HR to other roles under Settings › Roles.

  • ImprovedDrivers: more of what you keep on file — the street address with its own City, State and ZIP, Gender, the SSN (stored encrypted, shown as •••-••-6789 with Show for people who can edit drivers, and never exported), CDL restrictions, and the dates the fingerprint check was approved and training was last done. The drivers CSV template now has a column for every field on the driver form, and Export CSV the same (except the SSN and fuel card number).
  • NewAva adds things for you: say “Add a vehicle”, “Report a defect”, “Add a part”, “Start an inspection”, “Add a vendor”, “Report an incident” and more — she asks for whatever is still missing, one question at a time, then shows a card to confirm. Nothing is saved until you press it.
  • NewSchedule events now reach the people they're about. Link a driver to an event (training, a medical exam, a road test) and they're told when it's added, changed, moved or cancelled, and see it on their My Day under On your schedule.
  • NewA reminder the day before every Schedule event, to its driver and the people who edit the Schedule. Change how far ahead, or switch it off, under Settings › Notification rules › Event reminder.
  • NewDrivers' and vehicles' pages have a Schedule section: the events linked to them, coming up and recent, with Add event to start one for them.
  • ImprovedFor your account's safety, you can be signed in in one place at a time: signing in on another computer, phone or browser signs you out of the one before within about a minute, and says why.
  • ImprovedMore forms open in a side sheet over the page you're on: Log fuel, Add policy, Report defect, New work order, Report incident, Add event, Add school, Add part, Add vendor and Add user. The side menu stays on the page you were on.
  • ImprovedAdd expense and Add schedule open in a side sheet over the page you're on — from a vehicle's Costs or Maintenance, with the vehicle already chosen — so you don't leave the page; the new expense or schedule is listed there and on Expenses or Maintenance. Add new aide on a route opens the same way.
  • FixedAva's links to an expense, a fuel entry, a maintenance schedule, a template or a Schedule event open it again (they went to a page that didn't exist).
  • FixedThe Schedule's right-click menu (and the other pop-up menus) open right where you click again, instead of shifted to the side.

  • NewImport routes from a spreadsheet: Routes › Manage › Import CSV (or Settings › Import data). One route per row — its number, school, first pick up and school times, price, special instructions, and the vehicle, driver and aide who run it. Every row is checked first (a driver or bus already on another route at the same time is caught), and each driver is told about their new route.
  • NewSchools to and from a spreadsheet: Routes › Schools › Manage › Import CSV adds many schools at once (download the template, fill in one school per row with its district; every row is checked before anything is saved), and Export CSV downloads them — all, the districts you picked, or the ticked ones — in the same columns.
  • NewDocuments for aides: keep a clearance letter, a CPR card or a signed form on an aide's page, like a driver's — with its type and expiry date. They show on the Documents page and in Search, and one that is running out is flagged and reminded about. (Where Aides is switched on.)
  • NewA Contact us page on our website, for questions before you sign up: Ask us a question on the Pricing page opens it (it used to open your email program, which did nothing on a computer without one). Signed in, Contact us in the app is unchanged.
  • ImprovedAva's window now says Beta next to her name: she is still learning, and is taught new ways of asking every day. Check anything important on the page it comes from.
  • NewThe Help center and the Guide on our website now have pictures: about ninety screenshots of the pages they explain, from the Dashboard to Billing — and My Day on a driver's phone. Click a picture to see it larger.

  • NewClosing FleetCommander now signs you out: close the app's last tab (or the browser) and the next time you open the site you sign in again. Refreshing the page, or closing one tab while another is open, keeps you in. This applies to everyone, drivers on a phone included.
  • NewDownload your data: at the bottom of Billing (Settings › Company during the free trial), Download our data gives a Super Admin one ZIP of spreadsheets with everything your company has entered.
  • ImprovedClosing an account is clearer: you're told by email, your saved bank account or card is removed, your data is kept for 60 days (with reminders before it is deleted), and you're told when it has been.
  • ImprovedActivating a new account now asks for the password you chose when you signed up, and then signs you straight in — no second trip to the sign-in page. A typo doesn't use the link up, and “Forgot your password?” activates your account too.
  • ImprovedAfter too many wrong passwords, the sign-in page now tells you the quick way back in — “Forgot your password?” lets you choose a new one and sign in at once — and we email you when sign-in to your account is paused.
  • ImprovedA vehicle with a High or Critical defect still open can't be put back on the road by changing its status or restoring it from the archive: resolve the defect first.
  • ImprovedThe Schedule shows maintenance due dates, expiry dates and time off only to people who can see those sections, so a role's calendar matches the rest of what it can open.
  • FixedSpreadsheet exports: a note with several lines can no longer carry a formula into Excel — such a line starts with an apostrophe.

  • ImprovedThe sign-in page has a livelier background: its soft colours now drift slowly across the whole page. It stays still if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • FixedOn dark styles the FleetCommander logo is easy to read again: its dark lettering now shows in white — in the menu, on the sign-in page and on our public pages.
  • NewAva knows what's on your screen: on a vehicle's or driver's page, ask “What's its odometer?”, “When is its next service?” or “What's her phone?”. And a name is enough — “Tell me about Maria Chen”, “Acme Tire”.
  • NewAva ranks and compares: “Which bus used the most fuel last month?”, “Top 5 vehicles by repair cost”, “Fuel this month vs last month”.
  • NewMore Ava can get ready for you to confirm: an expense (“Add $45 tolls for bus 102”), a fuel entry, a driver swap on a route, a defect marked resolved, a route set inactive, your notifications marked read.
  • NewDrivers can ask Ava about their own day: “What's my route tomorrow?”, “When does my licence expire?”, “Who's my aide?”
  • NewAva understands and answers in Spanish (“¿Quién maneja la ruta 14 hoy?”), and you can speak your question with the microphone button beside her question box.

  • NewMeet Ava, your built-in assistant — the sparkle button at the bottom right of every page. Ask her how to do anything, about your own fleet (your compliance score, what expires this month, who's on a route today, a report), or to get a message or a route assignment ready. Nothing changes until you press Confirm.
  • ImprovedAva now knows every section: ask about vendors, parts, fuel, expenses, insurance, incidents, inspections, work orders, documents and more (“Which parts are low?”, “Expenses this month”, “Tell me about bus 102”). She tells you the upcoming bank holidays, adds an event to the Schedule once you confirm, and opens, downloads or prints any report.
  • ImprovedAva: say “Send a driver a message” and she asks which driver, then opens that driver's messages with the cursor ready, so you can write it yourself.
  • ImprovedAva: when she doesn't have an answer she now says so plainly, notes the question so it can be added, and offers things she can answer — instead of pointing at an article that doesn't fit.

  • ImprovedYour name in the header now opens an account menu — My account, Notifications (with the unread count), Billing & plan, Help Center, Contact us, Take the tour and Sign out — and the header is a little taller, with a search box that opens when you click into it.
  • ImprovedA fresher look: rounder corners, main buttons with a soft colour gradient, a gentle gradient on the menu entry for the page you're on, and pages and pop-ups that ease into place (switched off if your device is set to reduce motion).

  • NewAdding someone on Settings › Users now sends them an invite: they choose their own password from the email (the link lasts 7 days), and show as Invited until they do — Resend invite is in their row's menu. A temporary password an admin sets on Edit user (or one FleetCommander makes for a new company) must be changed at the next sign-in. And My account has Sign out everywhere, for a lost phone or a shared computer.
  • ImprovedThe menu has folders: Work Orders is under Maintenance, Incidents under Insurance and Aides under Drivers — press the arrow inside the entry to show or hide them (it opens by itself on those pages, and remembers your choice).
  • ImprovedCompliance Center: every list folds away — Collapse or Expand with the arrow on its heading; an "All clear" list starts folded.
  • ImprovedDistrict invoices and Aides lists work like the others: Manage › Export CSV (everything, or just the rows you tick), tick boxes, sortable headings and filters — District invoices can show only districts that still owe money, are overdue, or have no billing email; Aides can be archived or restored several at a time.
  • NewAides are texted about their routes — put on a route, taken off it, or when it changes — once your company has text messages to drivers switched on. They can reply STOP; any other reply comes to the office as a notification.
  • NewAides (being switched on company by company): Drivers › Aides keeps your bus aides and monitors as people — contact details, home address, photo, usual pay, and their background / fingerprint check, child abuse clearance and CPR / first aid dates, with reminders before one runs out. On a route you pick the aide from a drop-down (or add a new one right there), and an aide can't be booked on two routes at the same time. Aides already typed on your routes are in the list.
  • ImprovedSecurity: a sign-in now lasts at most 12 hours however busy you are — then you're asked to sign in again (the 30-minute sign-out when you're away stays as it was). Documents and incident or work-order files open only for people who can see the page they're on: a driver opens their own documents and the files of incidents they reported. Amounts, readings and counts can't be negative, and a number too large now gets a clear message instead of an error page.
  • ImprovedStronger passwords: a new password (signing up, changing or resetting yours, or one an admin sets for someone) must rate Good or Strong on the meter that now appears under the box as you type — a few unrelated words are an easy way to get there. Passwords made mostly of your own name or company, or ones that have turned up in a data breach, are refused. Your current password keeps working.
  • NewDistrict invoices: Did each route run? Every school day is billed as run, but a day with no driver clock-in and no student marked is flagged on the draft for the office to confirm — It ran, or Didn't run (the day comes off and is listed on the invoice).
  • NewReports › District invoices: every invoice issued to a school district in a period — amount, paid, owed, overdue and days overdue — and Routes › Districts now shows what each district owes, with search, sorting and pages like the other lists.
  • ImprovedDistrict invoice PDFs carry your brand: your logo, address, phone and email, and the colour you pick in Settings › District invoices.
  • ImprovedEvery "are you sure?" now opens FleetCommander's own box instead of the browser's — issuing and voiding invoices, deleting a school year, clock-outs, time off and more.

  • NewDistrict invoices (being switched on company by company): Routes › Districts keeps each district's billing details, every school gets a School days calendar (holidays filled in for you; add snow days and emergency closures as they happen), and a district's monthly invoice is counted for you — each route's school days × its price per day. Check and adjust it, issue it with the district's own number series, email the PDF (with your logo and How to pay) to the district, and record its payments, part payments too. Overdue invoices notify Super Admins and Accounting.
  • ImprovedTwo-step login can be made required for a company's Super Admins (FleetCommander switches it on company by company, or for everyone). My account says when it's required; everyone else can still choose it for themselves.

  • ImprovedEmails from FleetCommander have a fresh look: a picture for each kind of email (invoices, payments, route changes, inspections, expiring documents and more), the key details in a neat box — like an invoice's number, amount and due date — and a clear button to open it.
  • NewPay online (being switched on company by company): add a bank account or card under Billing (on Stripe's secure page) and every invoice is paid automatically as soon as it's issued. Bank accounts and debit cards have no fee; credit cards add a 3% surcharge. Pay now and Try again are on each open invoice.
  • ImprovedNew, simpler pricing: $15 per vehicle per month with a $99 monthly minimum, and no setup fee.

  • FixedSign out now always signs you out: going back to a page afterwards asks you to sign in. Before, a page still loading in the background could sign you straight back in.
  • FixedThe sign-in page no longer shows "Something went wrong" when you sign in from a page left open after signing in somewhere else, or press Sign in twice — it takes you to your Dashboard.
  • ImprovedDemo data now includes two weeks of attendance: students on the demo routes with their attendance (one at Three days not show), drivers' clock-ins and outs with pay rates, and time off — a sick day with a substitute, an upcoming vacation and a request waiting for approval. Remove demo data takes it all away again.
  • NewThree days not show: when a student misses every run three school days in a row (no-show or absent), the office gets a notification. Reports › Three days not show lists them with everything on file — school, district, address, phones, driver, vehicle and each missed run — and Print sheets gives one page per student for the school district.
  • NewStudent attendance: drivers mark each student Picked up (or Dropped off), No-show or Absent on My Day, run by run; the office sees it on the route's page and marks it too — for example when a parent calls. Plus the Student attendance and Student ridership reports.
  • NewDriver attendance: drivers Clock in and out on My Day (their pre-trip clocks them in too). Drivers › Attendance shows who's on duty, late, off or not in yet; each driver's Attendance tab has their shifts, hours and pay per hour or per shift. Set it up in Settings › Company › Driver attendance.
  • NewTime off: drivers ask for a day off, sick time or vacation — or part of a day — from My Day; approve or decline it on Drivers › Time off, or add it for them. Paid time off counts in the pay, and a route whose driver is off shows the best free drivers to cover just those days.

  • ImprovedPrinted inspections can be signed for you: tick "Sign with the mechanic's name (handwriting)" next to Print, and the signature and date lines show the mechanic's name and the date in handwriting. Leave it unticked to sign by hand.
  • NewInspections templates library: FleetCommander's ready-made inspection templates — starting with a Quarterly vehicle inspection — added to your Inspection templates when published, and available anytime under Manage › Add from Inspections templates library. Your copy is yours to change.
  • ImprovedFleet: tick a vehicle and choose Manage › Start inspection to go straight to inspecting it.
  • ImprovedInspection templates: a Manage menu with New template, Edit, Duplicate template and Delete (a template inspections were done with is kept — switch it off instead); a Quarterly type; apply a template to several vehicle types at once; name the mechanic; and the checklist is now "Vehicle components inspected", with your company as Operator and its address.
  • NewPrint inspections: press Print on any inspection for a clean, compact report (components two to a row) with the operator, address, mechanic, vehicle, every result and lines to sign — or tick several on the Inspections list and choose Manage › Print to print them all at once, each on its own sheet (or save them as one PDF).   • ImprovedThe homepage, FAQ, pricing and sign-up pages load much faster: they're now served ready-made from servers near you instead of being built on every visit.
  • ImprovedSchedule: jump straight to any future day, week or month with the date box next to the arrows, and see every bank holiday in the next 12 months under the calendar — click one to open its week. Holidays are worked out from the calendar rules, so they're right every year.
  • NewDriver onboarding: share training videos (from YouTube) and your driver handbook (a PDF) with all your drivers at once, from the Driver onboarding tab on Drivers. Drivers watch and read them under My Day › Onboarding and tick each one off; you see each driver's progress there and on the driver's new Onboarding tab.

  • NewSchools can have their calendar: add its web address, or upload it as a PDF or photo, on Add or Edit school. When you choose the school on a route, buttons to open its calendar appear under the address, so you can check the school is open on the route's days.
  • ImprovedA driver's fuel card can now hold the full card number, not just the last four digits. It's stored encrypted and shown masked (•••• 1234); people who can edit drivers can press Show number on the driver's page, and every view is recorded in the audit log. It never appears in exports, reports, emails or texts.
  • ImprovedA link that leads nowhere now shows a friendly "This stop isn't on the route" page with a way back to your dashboard (or My Day), instead of a bare error.

  • NewA week after you start, we'll send one short email asking how getting set up went — one click to rate it, and room for a comment. It goes straight to the FleetCommander team.
  • ImprovedOn the route form, the Morning route and Afternoon route sections fold away with Collapse and open with Expand, showing a one-line summary (stops, times and driver) while folded. A folded section is still saved, and opens by itself if something in it needs fixing.
  • NewRoute stops are now students: press Add stop for each one — student name, address, pick up time, parent and student phone. Search finds a student's route by their name, and drivers see each stop's student with tap-to-call numbers.
  • ImprovedThe route form is simpler: add the stops (students) under Morning route and the route works out the rest — it starts at the first stop, ends at the school, picks up at the earliest stop time and drops off when school starts. The afternoon route runs from the school end time for as long as the morning route; tick "This has a different driver" to give it its own driver and vehicle, with its own Recommend a driver. Each driver is told which run is theirs.
  • ImprovedRoutes have Special instructions for the driver (right under the route number), shown on their My Day and sent when they change. The Route name and Notes boxes are gone from the form; routes that already have them keep them.
  • NewRoutes can have an aide: tick "This route needs an aide" to add their name, pick up location, phone and rate (per day, run or hour). Drivers see the aide's name, phone and pick up on My Day — never the rate — and are told when it changes.
  • ImprovedDelete, Archive, Edit and the other actions for ticked rows are greyed out until you tick something. Documents has a single red Delete button instead of a Manage menu.
  • NewA driver can have more than one vehicle: keep their primary vehicle and add other vehicles (a backup, or a second one for some routes) on the driver's Edit page. Drivers see them all on My Day and can inspect any of them.

  • ImprovedEvery list now has the Manage menu and check boxes: Documents, Maintenance, Work Orders, Warehouse & Inventory, Inspections, Defects, Fuel, Expenses, Vendors, Insurance and Incidents. Tick rows to edit, delete (or archive, for defects) several at once — anything that must be kept is explained in a banner.
  • ImprovedExport CSV downloads only the rows you've ticked (or the whole filtered list when nothing is ticked) — on Fleet and Drivers too.
  • NewInspections has two tabs, Inspections and Inspection templates. Defects can be archived once resolved, and restored from Archived.
  • ImprovedSchools has a Manage menu too — Add school, and Edit or Delete for the schools you tick (several at once). A school that still has routes can't be deleted; a banner lists its routes to move first. Every Manage button now has a settings icon.
  • ImprovedRoutes has the same Manage menu as Fleet and Drivers — Add route, Export CSV, and Edit, Get directions or Delete for the routes you tick — and two tabs, Routes and Schools, with + Add School on the Schools tab.
  • NewDelete several routes at once. A route that's still active, or that a vehicle or driver is still on, can't be deleted — a banner says which ones and what to do first.
  • FixedDocuments, receipts and certificates up to 15 MB now upload everywhere — a PDF, Word or Excel file over about 4 MB used to fail on vehicle and driver documents, work orders, fuel receipts and insurance policies. Files now go straight to secure storage with a progress bar, and start uploading as soon as you choose them.
  • ImprovedWork orders: attach several photos or documents at once.
  • NewAttach photos, documents and videos while reporting an incident — choose several at once, and they upload as soon as it's saved.
  • ImprovedPhotos and videos are compressed in your browser before they upload, so they take less space and upload faster on a phone. Big phone photos no longer fail to upload.
  • NewStart over: a Super Admin can wipe everything the company has entered from My account › Purge all data (your people, settings and invoices stay). Type your company's name and your password to confirm — it can't be undone.
  • FixedImporting vehicles or drivers again after deleting the old ones no longer says the fleet numbers or employee IDs "already exist". If the old ones are only archived, the check now tells you so and how to free the number.
  • NewNew sign-ups get a proper welcome email, once: pictures, the first three steps, and a tour of what FleetCommander can do.
  • NewChoose whether your notifications are emailed to you: My account › Email notifications. It starts off — you'll see everything under the bell — so turn it on if you'd like emails too.
  • FixedLoading demo data no longer sends emails about the demo buses and drivers.
  • NewFleet and Drivers have checkboxes: tick one or many rows, then Archive them (hidden, restorable from Archived) or Delete them for good — their history is always kept.
  • ImprovedThe buttons at the top right of Fleet and Drivers are now one Manage menu: Add, Import CSV, Export CSV, Archive and Delete.
  • ImprovedMessages now appear in one banner at the top of the page — red for errors, amber for warnings, green when something worked — and stay until you close them with the ×. Things the app refuses to do (like deleting a vendor that's still in use) now explain why instead of showing an error page.

  • NewIncidents can now have videos (MP4, MOV or WEBM, up to 100 MB) as well as photos and documents — upload one from the incident's Photos, documents & videos tab and it plays right on the page.
