Documents

Every vehicle and driver document in one list, with expiry dates.

Deleting documents

The red Delete button (top right) deletes the documents you tick — it stays greyed out until you tick at least one. Tick rows with the check box at the start of each row (the one in the header ticks the whole page); the button shows how many are ticked and asks before deleting. Deleting removes the files from storage too; nothing else depends on a document, so any can be deleted. Add documents from a vehicle's or driver's Documents tab.

Documents shows every file attached to a vehicle or a driver in one list: the Document, its Type, the Owner (vehicle or driver), and when it Expires.

  • Use the search box and the filter (for example only documents that are expired or expiring soon) to find what needs renewing.
  • Click a document to open the file; click the owner to go to that vehicle or driver.

Add a document

  1. Open the vehicle or driver and go to its Documents tab.
  2. Choose the type, give it a name, and set the issue and expiry dates.
  3. Press Choose file and pick the file — a PDF, Word or Excel file, or a photo (JPG, PNG or WEBP), up to 15 MB. It starts uploading straight away: a progress bar shows how far it is, and a green tick appears when it's done.
  4. Press Upload document. If the file is still uploading, it waits for it and then saves.

Good to know: Files are private to your company; only signed-in people with access can open them.

Tip: The reminder days (90, 60, 30, 14, 7 by default) are set in Settings › Compliance rules.
