Warehouse & Inventory

The parts room: stock levels, minimums, adding stock, and which work orders used a part.

The Manage menu

Manage (top right): Add part, Import CSV, Export CSV, and Edit / Delete for ticked parts. Tick rows with the check box at the start of each row (the one in the header ticks the whole page). Export CSV downloads the list as it's filtered — or, with rows ticked, just those. A part that has been used on a work order is kept for that history, and one with stock left can't be deleted until its quantity is 0 — the banner says which.

Warehouse & Inventory lists every part you keep, with how many you have (On hand), the Min you want to keep, its Location and Cost.

  • A part at or below its minimum is flagged, and there is a Low stock only filter. The top of the page counts them, and a notification goes to the right people.
  • Search by name or part number; filter by category and stock level.
  • Add part creates a part (number, name, category, supplier, location, cost, minimum, and an optional photo). Import CSV loads many.

Change the stock

  1. Open the part.
  2. Use Add stock to record parts received (and the reason), or an adjustment for a count correction.
  3. Parts used on a work order come off the stock automatically; the part's page lists Used on work orders.

Tip: Set a sensible minimum for the parts you can't run without (filters, brake pads) and the app tells you before you run out.

Good to know: A part's photo (on Add part or Edit) is optional — it just makes the part easier to spot on the shelf and in the list.
