Repair shops, suppliers, insurers and other companies you deal with.
The Manage menu
Manage (top right): Add vendor, Import CSV, Export CSV, and Edit / Delete for ticked vendors. Tick rows with the check box at the start of each row (the one in the header ticks the whole page). Export CSV downloads the list as it's filtered — or, with rows ticked, just those. A vendor that work orders, parts, expenses or policies use is kept for their history — the banner lists what uses it.
Vendors is your address book of outside companies. Each has a type (repair shop, parts supplier, tire supplier, fuel provider, insurance, towing, body shop, other), a contact person, phone, email, address (with suggestions), website and payment terms.
- Open a vendor to see its work orders and expenses.
- Vendors are offered when you create work orders, parts, expenses and insurance policies.
- Add vendor, Import CSV and Export CSV are in the Manage menu; search by name and filter by type.
