The AI assistant built into FleetCommander
Meet Ava. Ask her about your fleet.
Ava sits at the corner of every page of your fleet management software. Ask in plain words — who's on a route, what expires this month, what a bus cost last month. She answers from your own records, and gets messages, assignments and work orders ready for you to confirm.
Included for every company · no credit card needed
Who's on route D-3 today?
Tell Maria the Magnolia stop moved to 5th
Send Maria Chen a message
- “The Magnolia stop moved to 5th”
- Maria is told in the app.
What you can ask her
Four kinds of help, in the words people actually use. These are real questions she answers today.
Answers about your fleet
The numbers on your own screen, without opening five pages to find them.
- What's our compliance score?
- Which licences expire this month?
- What maintenance is overdue?
- Any open defects?
- How many drivers do we have?
- Show me last month's fuel costs
Finds people, buses and routes
Ask the way you'd ask the person at the next desk.
- Who's driving route 12 today?
- Which route is Emma Lopez on?
- Which routes have no driver?
- What's Maria's phone number?
- What's wrong with bus 102?
- Who's off tomorrow?
Gets things ready for you
She prepares it on a card. You read it, then press Confirm.
- Text Maria that pick-up moved to 7:10
- Put James on route 14 from Monday
- Take James off route 14
- Tell the drivers on route 14 that school closes early
- Open a work order for bus 102
- Add a new driver named Sam Reed
Explains how to do anything
Step by step, from the same guide your team reads — with a link to the page.
- How do I add a route?
- How do I prepare a district invoice?
- Where do I see who's clocked in?
- How do drivers do a pre-trip inspection?
You stay in charge
An assistant is only useful if you can trust what it does with your business. Ava is built to help, then wait for your yes.
- Nothing changes until you confirmA message, an assignment or a work order waits on a card that says exactly what will happen. It only happens when you press Confirm — and only for the person who asked.
- She sees what you may seeAva looks things up as the person asking, with that person's role. Someone who can't open Reports can't get a report from her either. A driver gets help with their own day, never the company's records.
- Your company onlyShe only ever looks at your own company's records. A student's address or phone number is never shown in an answer.
- On the recordEverything she does for you goes through the same steps as the app's own buttons, and is written in the audit log marked “via Ava”.
Talk to her the way you talk
Follow-ups
After “Who's driving route 12 today?”, just ask “and tomorrow?” or “what about route 14?”.
Spelling doesn't have to be perfect
“complience score” works, and “Jame Ortis” finds James Ortiz — she tells you whose details she's showing.
She learns your wording
Not sure what you meant? She asks once — “Did you mean…?” — and remembers. The questions you ask most become your own shortcuts.
Ava works across everything in FleetCommander — routes and the driver app, inspections, maintenance, district invoicing and the rest. See everything for school-bus companies.
Questions about Ava
- Does Ava cost extra?
- No. Ava is part of FleetCommander for every company, including during the free trial. There is no per-question charge.
- Can Ava change my data by herself?
- No. She can get a message, a route assignment or a work order ready, but nothing is sent or saved until you press Confirm on the card. Editing, deleting, settings and billing she doesn't do at all — she tells you where to do it.
- Who in my company can use her?
- Everyone who signs in. Office staff can ask about the company's records within what their role allows. Drivers can ask how to do things, such as their pre-trip inspection.
- What can she look up?
- Your compliance score, what is expired or expiring, who is on each route on any day, which route a student rides, drivers' details, vehicles by status, maintenance due, open defects and work orders, who is off, what districts owe, and any report for any period.
- What happens when she doesn't know?
- She says so plainly rather than guessing, notes the question so it can be added, and points you to the guide or to a person at FleetCommander.
- Is there anything to install or set up?
- No. She is the round button at the bottom corner of every page, on a computer or a phone.
